Luo Yonghao’s “old enemies” suddenly formed a group to fight back against him recently, and the timing was very coincidental.
On the evening of September 27, Zheng Gang, the founder of Zihui Venture Capital, issued a real-name report accusing Luo Yonghao and a friend of being involved in major tax evasion. The topic became a hot search on Weibo on the 28th.
On September 20, Xibei founder Jia Guolong, who had not been seen for a long time, called in a forum speech and urged regulatory authorities to further clarify the boundaries of speech for high-traffic online accounts and distinguish between normal public opinion supervision, opinion debates and malicious disparagement, commercial slander, and soft online violence.
The views expressed by Jia Guolong are very similar to those expressed in a previous comment by People’s Daily Online.
On September 18, People’s Daily Online stated in the article “Criticism is a Right, Beware of Becoming “Traffic Power”” that a public figure with tens of millions of fans can make a subjective taste evaluation and amplify it through dissemination, which is enough to have a huge impact on a brand. This power itself is worth examining.

Comments say traffic is a double-edged sword that can both monitor the market and crush brands. While big Vs enjoy the bonus of their right to speak, they should also exercise equal prudence and responsibility. Criticism can be sharp, but traffic power must be used with caution; perceptions can be subjective, but public opinion must not be manipulated.
From the perspective of Yijian Finance, the greatest value of this review is twofold:
First, it defines the huge influence of Internet celebrities such as Luo Yonghao. This kind of behavior is a manifestation of “traffic power.” This term is like a curse on the head of the Sun Wukong to Internet celebrities.
Second, Internet influencers with “traffic power” are extremely destructive. It is not conducive to “creating a public opinion environment conducive to the development of private enterprises.”
Obviously, such a tone set by the central media is a dream result for both Zheng Gang and Jia Guolong. Luo Yonghao was criticized by the central media, which can be regarded as a bad breath for them.
From this perspective, Jia Guolong and Zheng Gang launched a new round of attacks on Luo Yonghao after the central media set the tone. They were not only “taking advantage of the trend”, but also hoped to give Luo Yonghao a more fatal blow so that he could be completely defeated.
For example, Zheng Gang “reported tax evasion by Luo Yonghao.” If this incident is true, the impact on Luo Yonghao will obviously be fatal. In recent years, celebrities who have evaded taxes have suffered a very disastrous end. Not only do they face huge fines, but their online personalities also collapse.
Obviously, Zheng Gang reported Luo Yonghao, ostensibly for “financial issues”, but actually wanted to tear down Luo Yonghao’s personality and make him lose his “traffic power.”
Just imagine, if Zheng Gang had sufficient evidence of Luo Yonghao’s tax evasion, why didn’t he submit the materials directly to the tax department, but instead reported it in a public opinion space like Weibo with great fanfare.
The media has also seen this very clearly.
The Paper said in a comment on September 28 titled “Instead of fighting in the distance, Zheng Gang and Luo Yonghao should resort to the law.” The public opinion field is not a place for fighting in the distance. If everyone retreats after “making a big fuss”, it will not only destroy the order of the Internet, but also challenge the legal environment, and it is easier to give people the impression of “mutual hype.”
A year later, Jia Guolong recently opened fire on Luo Yonghao. The purpose was essentially the same as Zheng Gang’s report.
Jia Guolong said, “Cyber attacks are rampant and we must protect the stable business environment of private enterprises. From the perspective of private entrepreneurs, combined with this painful lesson in Xibei, I have some experiences and appeals.”
He said, “For accounts with huge traffic, after disputes occur, they bypass the legitimate legal channels such as industry administrative complaints, mediation, and litigation, and instead openly incite public opinion on the Internet, offer rewards to build momentum, accuse people to provoke war, and even implicate the parties’ partners.”
Jia Guolong did not name Luo Yonghao, but anyone with a discerning eye could see that he was talking about Luo Yonghao.
Compared with Zheng Gang, Jia Guolong is more “smart”. He labeled his speech as “protecting a stable business environment for private enterprises” and stood on a higher “commanding heights”.
Even so, judging from the timing, Jia Guolong came out to criticize Luo Yonghao at this time, hoping to step on him again after the central media criticized Luo Yonghao and gave him “traffic power”.
