In fact, it is an AI companion with a very clear positioning – focusing on companionship and light on flying.
Once you download the client and log in, you can choose a digital character that you like. There are beautiful girls with different personalities inside, such as Xia Xia, who claims to be a bronze master.
There is also the neighbor sister Gu Yu, or the royal sister Shen Lubai. Anyway, they are very good-looking.
After turning it on, AI can see your game screen.
When you play games, it responds with real-time voice while watching. If you are single-killed by the opponent, it will comfort you; if you show off your skills, it will support you at any time.
The functions currently include table petting, wallpaper generation, and daily chatting.
It is said that it is adapted to several mainstream online games such as “Fearless Contract”, “CS2” and “League of Legends”.
In terms of fees, internal testing is free. But the way to pay has been paved. Star coins can be exchanged for energy. In the future, chat, voice, companionship, and drawing will all deduct energy according to the round and duration. A minimum of 10 star coins can be exchanged at a time.
You will be charged based on your usage, and you will be deducted as much as you play. It is not a monthly pass. The specific price has not been announced yet.

What’s so clever about Goose Dimension? It binds the scene of the game.
You’re not specifically chatting with the AI, you’re just chatting with someone while playing games. Needs occur naturally and are not forced.
There are also people running on the same track. The Doudou game partner started by the former vice president of Bilibili has added 1 million new users within 10 days of its launch, and now the total number of users exceeds 10 million.

However, Doudou AI is a third-party product, and you have to solve the problem of adapting it to the game yourself.

However, this type of projects have a common problem: a strong community atmosphere and insufficient productization.

Of course, Tencent also has to be careful. When it comes to playing with someone, we call it “electronic pet” if we’re talking about it in a superficial way, or “AI lover” if we’re talking about it in a more advanced way. It’s hard to figure out the scale.
In short, if it is too shallow, users will find it boring, while if it is too deep, it will easily step on the red line of compliance.
As for those companions who make money just by chatting, it’s time to think about where their irreplaceability lies. The good days of just being able to shout “Brother is so awesome” may really be numbered in the future.
