In May 2021, Feng Xi won the variety show championship of Dragon TV’s “Anchor Has Newcomers”. At the end of 2021, he joined Hunan Satellite TV and began to serve as the host of “Hello Saturday” in January 2022 until his resignation in January 2023.

He has many representative works, including “A Thousand Baidus”, “Broken Bridge with Remaining Snow”, “Funeral of Roses”, “Eternal”, “Swallow Returns to the Nest”, “Half a City of Smoke and Sand”, etc.

It is worth noting that when the marriage was officially announced, Taihe Music, the company behind Xu Songming, was sprinting towards the Hong Kong IPO. It had submitted a prospectus on June 22 this year, with Deutsche Bank and CITIC Construction International serving as joint sponsors.

According to the prospectus, Taihe Music was officially established in 2014 and was formed by the integration of three established Chinese labels: Haidie Music, Maitian Music, and Dashi Copyright. Its history can be traced back to Haidie Music, which was founded in 1987.

Xu Song, on the other hand, signed a contract with Haidie Music in March 2011, and has since released albums such as “Socera Has No Bottom”, “Sleepwalking Plan”, “It’s Better to Have Tea”, “Youth Evening News”, “Treasure Hunt” and “Breathing Wild”.

According to the prospectus, Taihe Music’s core business revolves around the IP portfolio (including music IP, artist and performance IP and their extensions), and has built three major business lines covering music copyright library operation, artist brokerage management and live performance business, as well as ticketing and other services, to realize the commercialization of the entire music life cycle.

From 2023 to 2025, Taihe Music’s revenue was 861 million yuan, 1.419 billion yuan and 1.300 billion yuan respectively, and its profits during the year were 34 million yuan, 56 million yuan and 120 million yuan respectively.

As of the end of 2025, Taihe Music has signed contracts with 64 artists, groups or bands. Its representative management and cooperative artists include Xu Song, Xu Jiaying, Shell and Hedgehog Band.

Taihe Music disclosed, A total of 64 concerts were hosted from 2023 to 2025, among which Xu Song’s “Breathing Wild” was one of the company’s most commercially successful domestic tour concerts during the same period.

According to reports, in 2024 and 2025, the “Breathing Wild” tour will perform a total of 40 performances, which is about 60% of the concerts hosted by Taihe Music in the past three years, attracting a total of about 1.6 million viewers.

As of now, Baidu Group (09888.HK) holds a combined 37.36% stake in Taihe Music through two wholly-owned companies, making it the largest shareholder. As for Xu Song, he has no direct equity relationship with Taihe Music.

However, according to the prospectus, Xu Song is suspected to be Taihe Music’s second largest supplier in 2023 and the largest supplier in 2024 and 2025, that is, “Supplier B” whose background is “an artist mainly engaged in music performance, creation and related activities”.

In 2023, 2024 and 2025, Taihe Music will purchase from it approximately 42 million yuan, 352 million yuan and 333 million yuan respectively. In other words, during the two years of the “Breathing Wild” tour, Taihe Music may have paid Xu Song as much as 685 million yuan in purchasing fees.

On May 14 this year, Xu Song officially announced his ninth fully composed album “Amber Conjecture” and a tour of the same name. The tour of the same name will kick off in July.
