On the morning of the 20th, the modern pentathlon arena gave birth to the Chinese delegation’s first gold medal in this Asian Games. The Chinese team gained a lot, winning a total of 2 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze.

The triathlon was held in Gamagori City. Chinese team player Zhang Xirui won the silver medal in the men’s individual event, winning the first medal for the Chinese delegation at the Asian Games and creating the best result for a Chinese team player in the Asian Games. In the women’s individual competition, Lin Xinyu and Huang Anqi won the championship and runner-up.
