According to the “Dongfeng Motor” public account, on September 22, Feng Changjun, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Motor, went to Shenzhen to hold talks with Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei and Huawei’s senior representatives.
The two parties stated that they will continue to deepen cooperation around the directions of vehicle intelligence, enterprise digital upgrades, and ecological co-construction, and explore implementation scenarios in areas such as vehicle-network interaction, vehicle communications, smart transportation, and smart cities.
During the meeting, Huawei’s Ren Zhengfei said that the foundation of car manufacturing lies in safety and quality, and Huawei is willing to leverage its own advantages and work with Dongfeng to create smart car products that can withstand market testing. Feng Changjun said that safety and quality are the basis for smart cars to win market trust, and there is still much room for cooperation between the two parties in areas such as ecological construction.
