The aircraft, a Gulfstream G100, took off from Bermuda International Airport at 11:41pm ET on Friday and lost contact with U.S. authorities Saturday morning.
The U.S. Coast Guard is looking for a plane with six people on board that disappeared Saturday morning while en route to Boston from Bermuda.
Authorities are searching for the Gulfstream G100, a twin-engine, mid-size jet, off the coast of Nantucket. Both air and surface crews have been deployed to the area, according to the Coast Guard Northeast District.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported losing contact with the aircraft early on Saturday morning, the Coast Guard said.

According to data from FlightAware, the plane took off from Bermuda International Airport at 11:41 p.m. ET.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.
