According to CCTV news, a reporter from the main stationIt was learned that on the evening of October 5, local time, a note claiming that there were explosives on board was found on a passenger plane flying from Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, to Şanliurfa.
Hassan Sherdak, Governor of Şanlıurfa Province, said that the passenger plane involved was AJet flight 4180, which took off from Ankara at 19:00 that day and landed at Žanlıurfa GAP Airport at 20:05. There are 136 passengers and 7 crew members on board, and no one currently has any health problems.
Sherdak said the relevant note was found in the aircraft restroom. Security services searched the plane and will later check the luggage on board. Authorities will also conduct handwriting analysis on passengers to investigate the source of the note.
It is reported that due to this impact, Sanliurfa Airport once issued a navigation notice and was temporarily closed.
