Information released on the Israel Airports Authority website on the 3rd showed that after Emirates Air Dubai suspended all flights to and from Israel, the first Israeli civilian airliner carrying stranded Israeli passengers arrived in Tel Aviv from Dubai in the early morning of the same day.

According to arrival flight information, this flight was operated by Agia Israel Airlines. It took off from Dubai on the 2nd and landed at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv at about 1 a.m. on the 3rd.

On September 30, a safety incident occurred on a flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv during the flight. The aircraft was diverted and landed safely at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, flydubai announced the suspension of all flights to and from Israel. According to Israeli news, more than 10,000 Israeli tourists were stranded in Dubai and other places due to this incident.

It is reported that this Agia El Al flight is the first flight operated by an Israeli airline to take off from the United Arab Emirates after the security incident. El Al had planned to send two flights to Dubai on the 2nd to pick up stranded passengers, but the flight was eventually canceled because it failed to obtain landing permission from the United Arab Emirates.

After the outbreak of war in Iran at the end of February, many Israeli airlines suspended operations to and from the UAE. As of August, about half of passengers flying from Israel to the UAE flew flydubai.
