On September 29, a staff member of the Ganzi Prefecture Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau of Sichuan Province reminded reporters in an interview that tourists must not spend money to find an agency to reserve tickets, or buy so-called “scalper tickets”. The reporter asked: “How can I enter the scenic spot without my own ID card?” The netizen said that after paying, a QR code for a successful reservation will be provided. Scan the code at the entrance of the scenic spot to verify entry.
Another netizen posted on the platform said that he could buy tickets for 200 yuan from September 27 to October 7. If he didn’t get it, he would provide a guarantee plan. After the reporter expressed his willingness to buy, the other party asked the reporter to provide his name, ID number and travel date, so that he could help grab tickets. When checking in, he could enter the scenic spot by swiping his ID card.
The other party said that if he did not grab the reservation ticket, he still had the cash ticket in hand as a guarantee, and would send the reporter an ID card. Use this ID card with the reservation code to enter the scenic spot. The cash ticket is 260 yuan each, of which 60 yuan is the deposit for the ID card. The deposit will be refunded immediately after the ID card is used up and returned.

Another netizen with an IP address from Chongqing posted that he would pay 500 yuan to help grab tickets for Daocheng Yading on October 6. If the ticket is successfully issued, it will not be refunded or exchanged. The reporter left a message expressing his intention to buy, but the other party never responded.
On September 29, a Jimu News reporter saw on the official ticket reservation platform of Daocheng Yading that all tickets for October 1 to 5 have been booked.
On September 28, Daocheng Yading Scenic Area announced on its official platform that as of 15:40 on September 28, the number of ticket reservations for the same day in Daocheng Yading Scenic Area from September 29 to October 5, 2026 has reached the maximum capacity of 15,000 tickets. The announcement reminded that the maximum tourist capacity of the scenic spot in a single day is 15,000 people. The reservation quota is only available when the reservation is full. If a tourist refunds the ticket, the remaining reservation will be released at 20:00 on the next day for tourists to reserve the quota for the next day. If there is no refund, there will be no new ticket source.
The reporter introduced the situation of people reselling or bidding for Daocheng Yading Scenic Spot tickets at high prices on second-hand platforms. The staff member said that the cultural tourism department and the scenic spot have received reports from some tourists about this phenomenon, and the scenic spot has taken measures and issued announcements to remind them.
A reporter from Jimu News saw on the official website of the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area Administration Bureau that on September 27, the bureau issued an announcement on advocating official channels to purchase tickets and severely cracking down on the illegal behavior of ticket scalpers.
According to the announcement, recently, the scenic spot has discovered that some individuals and intermediaries are hoarding and reselling Daocheng Aden at increased prices through online social platforms, online communities, and offline sales around the scenic spot in the name of “internal tickets”, “special channel tickets”, and “paid reservations”. Scenic area tickets and real-name reservation admission vouchers are used to commit ticket fraud, seriously disrupting the normal ticketing order of the scenic area, and infringing on the legitimate property rights and interests of tourists. Some tourists who purchased so-called “scalper tickets” were unable to write them off, were unable to enter the park, and suffered property damage.
The announcement emphasized that the scenic spot strictly implements “no reservations, no travel”. All tourists, including free tickets and discount groups, must make reservations with their own names, and the person, ID, and reservation information must be consistent before entering the park.
