The price of naked tickets is as low as 200 to 300 yuan. After the long holiday, the “missing” ticket window is opened.

The National Day holiday is over, the travel peak has dropped, and air ticket prices have plummeted. It is a good time to travel during off-peak hours.

Departing from major tourist source areas such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou

The naked fares on many routes are as low as two to three hundred yuan.

Reporters learned from online travel platforms that after the holidays, domestic air ticket prices dropped significantly.

Data monitoring shows that from October 9 to 31, the average price paid for domestic air tickets was more than 30% lower than during the National Day holiday.

Specific to routes, starting from major passenger source areas such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the naked fares in many popular directions have fallen into the range of two to three hundred yuan: the lowest price from Beijing to Lanzhou is only 200 yuan, the lowest price from Shanghai to Lijiang is 200 yuan, the lowest price from Beijing to Urumqi is 300 yuan, and the lowest price from Guangzhou to Chengdu is 309 yuan. Even if the fuel cost of the machine is added, the price is still cost-effective.

The benefits brought by the price drop are most directly felt by passengers. One passenger told reporters that he had inquired about air tickets from Beijing to Urumqi during the National Day holiday, and the price at that time was as high as more than 4,000 yuan.

Due to concerns about the fare, he moved his travel plan to after the holiday, and finally purchased a ticket departing on October 13 and returning on October 20. Even including the fuel cost of the machine, the total round-trip price was only about 1,000 yuan.

Fuel surcharge to increase from 10th

If you buy tickets within these two days, you can save another amount

Recently, a number of airlines have informed that they will increase fuel surcharges on domestic routes starting from October 10: each passenger will be charged 90 yuan for segments above 800 kilometers, and 50 yuan for segments below 800 kilometers (inclusive), which will increase by 20 yuan and 10 yuan respectively. Tickets issued before October 9 (inclusive) will still be charged at the original rate.

In other words, passengers who buy tickets on October 8th and October 9th can save another 10 yuan to 20 yuan per ticket.

Family travel bookings rise

In November, primary and secondary school students in many places in the country will have their autumn vacation. Family travel is becoming popular again, and many travelers have begun to book low-priced post-holiday air tickets in advance.

Data shows that bookings for forward air tickets from cities such as Chengdu, Nanjing, Beijing, and Shanghai increased by 40% month-on-month from October 15 to November 15.
